Meet The Team

Coach
David Acuna
"Hey, my name is David Acuna. I grew up in San Pedro CA, I played as many sports as I could growing up. I remember always being involved in activities, especially outdoor activities. One activity I find myself doing weekly is going to the beach and relaxing in front of the shoreline or boogie boarding. I also like to go out to eat at restaurants and try new food, I am very adventurous. I have been with ILKB for just over a year now. I started mid pandemic. I love teaching because I enjoy seeing people prosper and improve their life, I think it’s awesome to be able to help people on their journey and they help me as well! I am pretty much in love with burritos- the bigger and spicier the better! My favorite quote is: 'It is what it is'-unknown-"

Coach
Brenda Salas
"Hello ALL, I am Brenda Salas,
I fell in love with working out about 6 years ago after participating in Pageants. I realized that I must do this for me instead of things outside of myself. I pushed and it genuinely changed my lifestyle for the best!
I have been a Trainer at ILKB for over 9 months and I love it! I love when our members give me nasty side eye looks when I tell them the next work out haha, but in all honesty I love pushing our members to do things they never thought they could. I love hearing all the positive feedback after a class.
Some of my hobbies include, Dancing, reading, rollerblading, meditating, yoga and above all hanging out with my dog Duvet.
My favorite cheat meals include Pupusas, Burritos, Pizza, Dark chocolate and Desserts

I love to dance!!I am a professional back up dancer outside of the gym as I’ve been pursuing it as a career. A perfect cheat meal would be a cheesecake or ice cream, hands down one of my favorites!! I’m looking forward to getting to know all the new faces on the mat!”
